Forty Hall Patchwork Cushion 4th March 2017

Hello ,

The photos are two of the ladies patchwork blocks they made for the cushions. An enjoyable group to teach. I hope they  learned  enough to sew other projects. Thank you for coming on the workshop.

Forty Hall Applique Workshop 2017 Feb

Hello, Some of the of the applique work the ladies did on the workshop. Very glad all the ladies enjoyed the workshop and more please that they were able to sew the different stitches by the end of the class. I hope they are still doing embroidery.They have finished the applique picture.

Workshop Patch work Cushion

To Make a Patchwork Cushion. At Forty Hall in Enfield.

Saturday 4th April 2017, Time 11 am to 4pm. Cost £75. All materials provided. NEED TO BRING A SEWING MACHINE & Scissors.

Paper instructions and demonstrations shown. Will run the class step by step. Will make 4 different patchwork blocks.

All materials provided. Come and spend an enjoyable afternoon and learn something new. I will teach you stem, chain and lazy daisy stitches to learn. Printed instructions and demonstrations through out the class. Bring scissors.

Hand Embroidery

Saturday  22nd October 2016. Time 1 pm -4 pm. Cost £35. Come and spend an enjoyable afternoon sewing and meeting people with the same interest. Bring a small scissors. All materials provided. Will learn satin, chain, lazy daisy, stem, blanket and French knot stitches. To make a pin cushion and needle case.

Above are examples of the pin cushion and needle case. Pictures below are designs to choose. Developed from the decorations and furnitures in Forty Hall. Should be able to finish at least one of the items.
