 Saturday 4th June . Time 1 to 3pm

There is a free car park.

Above is the pin cushion and needle case to make in the class. If you do not finish you will to finish it at home. Around the edge is blanket stitch . The flower is stitched with stem stitch for the stalks. The flower in chain stitch and satin stitch. The bee in stem and satin stitch. Inside the needle case is two piece of felt to hold the needles on.  

A pre- patterned fabric. Designs created from The interior of Forty Hall.
Stitch to learn are Chain , stem. blanket satin and French knot.
Written instructions included. Images below I took out at forty Hall to get designs from.

Materials included. Need to bring a scissors and a pencil.

Pin wheel quilt block

This is a pin wheel block to send into Craft and Create show . They are collecting 5"x%2 block s to make a huge quilt. For Jenny who does the quilt shows.

50 th Birthday Quilt

Just finished a new quilt for  a good friend for her 50th Birthday on Mother's Day. Lucky her 2 special events on the same day. It is the same design I did for another friend 2 years ago. This time I used Moda charm squares inside of a jelly roll.  I did find it easier to make the triangle shapes. Blue is her favourite colour. I thought I had along time to make it . I should of started it last year. I also hand quilt as well. I manga to finish it on time.

I have a pram quilt to make next for her grand daughter's pram . That should not take long.

Sewing classes in the New Year

If you are interested to learn to sew . I want to  start  a sewing  for beginners. Make a cushion  or bag to start with. Classes will be in Winchmore Hill.

Christmas Craft Fairs 2015

Hello some photos from the fairs I did in the last 2 weeks. The 3 photos below are from the Oakwood fair. This year  made ginger bread men , owls and tea light houses for the first time. Next week at Sat 28th Nov at Forty Hall in Enfield. 11 am to 4 pm.

These are are the fairs I am selling  at this Christmas 2015.

November:   Saturday 21st . Time 10 am to 12:00 noon.
                    St Thomas's Church Hall, Junction of Prince George Ave and Sheringham Ave, Oakwood                           N14 4SN.

                    Saturday 28th . Time 11:00 to 4:pm. Forty Hall, Enfield,

December:   Saturday 5th. Time  11:00 to 3:00 pm.
                   Baskvilles Tea Shop. 66 Aldermans Hill, Palmers Green, London N13 4PP.
